Great essay by Frank Chimero where he asks himself what it means to natively design for screens. I really like the part where he compares the transition from flat to skeu with The introduction of plastic. At first, plastic folders needed to have a leather feel, later we understood that folders were made of plastic, and we could remove the leather-feel: the introduction of flat.
